Description

What is Bacteriostatic Water?

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth after the vial is punctured, which is what allows a single vial to be used across multiple reconstitutions over several weeks under refrigeration. It is the standard solvent for reconstituting most research peptides supplied in lyophilised form.

Use in Peptide Reconstitution

Bacteriostatic water is compatible with the majority of peptides sold on this site — including BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, Ipamorelin, Tesamorelin, Semax, Selank, MOTS-C, Kisspeptin-10, and MT2. How to Use

1. Wipe the septum of both the bacteriostatic water vial and the peptide vial with an alcohol swab.
2. Draw the required volume of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe.
3. Slowly inject the water down the side wall of the peptide vial (not directly onto the lyophilised powder).
4. Gently swirl to dissolve. Do not shake.
5. Store the reconstituted peptide at 2–8°C.
