When to Use This Instead of the 1ml Insulin Syringe

The 3ml syringe is the practical choice when:

• Reconstituting products supplied at larger quantities per vial — for example, NAD+ 500mg, which typically requires several millilitres of solvent
• Transferring bacteriostatic water from one vial to another in bulk
• Any research application where the total draw volume exceeds 1ml

For sub-millilitre aliquot draws, the 1ml U100 Insulin Syringe is more accurate due to its finer graduation.
