What is Selank?

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide developed in Russia as a stable analog of tuftsin, the endogenous immunomodulatory tetrapeptide derived from IgG. It was extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro C-terminal sequence to increase enzymatic stability and cross the blood-brain barrier. Selank has been the subject of research in the areas of anxiolytic signalling, immunomodulation, and neurotransmitter regulation. Like Semax, it is registered as a medicinal product in Russia but is not approved by the MHRA, FDA, or equivalent Western regulators.

It is supplied by Revial Labs as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder for reconstitution in bacteriostatic water. All product is intended strictly for laboratory research use.
